Aesthera is the clinical, certification, payment and fulfillment layer that a med spa runs a prescription program on. Aesthera is not a clinic and does not treat patients. The med spa keeps its brand, its patients and its pricing, and licensed clinicians cover the prescribing.

What does Aesthera do?

Aesthera supplies the parts of a prescription program a med spa cannot run alone. That covers licensed clinicians, a pharmacy relationship, a telehealth payment account and the certification a processor asks for. A med spa chooses which programs to offer and prices them.

Aesthera is not a marketplace. Patients are not shared between med spas, and the platform does not sell to them directly.

Who is this for?

Med spas that already have clients asking about weight management, hormones, hair loss or prescription skincare, and that want to answer without building a clinical operation.

What Aesthera does not do

• It does not provide medical care.
• It does not set retail prices.
• It does not bring the med spa patients.
• It does not replace a medical director where state law requires one for other services.

How is the clinical side covered?

Licensed clinicians review patient intake and write prescriptions where appropriate. They are identified to patients as the rules require. Coverage depends on licensure by state, so the states a program can serve are set by where those clinicians are licensed.

Who reviews the content on this site?
